Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Cambridge

Dr Ginto George is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cambridge. He completed his PhD at the Graduate School of Science at Kyoto University in Japan between 2017 and 2020, focusing on research areas such as Endoplasmic reticulum protein homeostasis, Unfolded protein response, and Protein biochemistry. His academic achievements include receiving the prestigious Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2021 from the European Commission and being awarded the MEXT Honours Scholarship for doctoral studies in 2019-2020 and the T. Banaji Scholarship for doctoral studies from 2017 to 2019. In addition, Dr. George performed well on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Life Sciences in 2014 and obtained the CSIR UGC NET certification in Life Science in the same year.
