Nithin Divakar

PhD KFRI (2023- ongoing)

Nithin Divakar is currently pursuing his PhD at the Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI), a program he began in 2023. His dedication to conservation has been recognized through numerous prestigious awards and grants. In 2024, he was awarded the Bat Conservation International Student Scholarship. He received the Conservation Leadership Programme Alumni Travel Grant to attend the International Conference on Conservation Biology in 2023 and was a Conservation Leadership Programme Awardee in 2021. Additionally, Nithin secured the Idea Wild Equipment Grant in 2020 and was supported by the Mohamed Bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund in 2019.
